A few climbs (quite a few ) to challenge the ‘winter’ legs as Wednesday’s ride from Leatherhead will be
heading out over Box Hill (the wrong way), up over Leith Hill/Holmbury and
Newlands Corner with a few down hills to compensate. Lunch will be at the White
Horse in Shere and tea at Esher. A shade over 42 miles.
The tea stop is an anagram of the lunch stop ...
ReplyDeleteI will try and stand the hills on my MTB (low gears) and hope that my fat tyres as recommended by Mark will permit me. Don't wait for me if I have to abort I will make my own way to Shere (rearranged as Esher) What an observant man Sim is - or is Simon Said!
ReplyDeleteI will see how bright and bushy tailed I am in the morning! If my tail or feather is down, I will go with the "B" group, either way it's Box Hill either way. probably strait home after lunch so again I will not be drag!
