It's been a struggle to find a direction the 'A's' haven't taken of late but, after an extensive search, I think I have finally come up with somewhere! From elevenses at the Ferry Coffee Shop, Shepperton Lock (note change from Walton Day Centre, which is now closed on Wednesdays), we'll be heading north into less familiar territory in 'leafy Bucks' for lunch at the Dumb Bell at Horn Hill, then back to tea at Shepperton Lock Tea Rooms, or the Wilde Brunch, Walton, as preferred, about 45 miles there and back. The route isn't entirely flat, but it will probably prove to be a little less hilly than average for an 'A' ride, with the climbs almost all in the middle third of the ride. There are plenty of off-road sections, more or less all surfaced except for one, fairly short section.

Do join me for the the 'A' group ride on Weds 10 July!
The route is here https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/284523860, (.gpx will also be sent out with confirmations).
If you would like to join the ride, please e-mail me at cycledave23.gmail.com by 5.00 pm on Monday 8 July, indicating your lunch choice from the menu https://thedumbbell.co.uk/wp- content/uploads/2023/04/ dumbbellmenu.pdf.
It's still not too late to volunteer to sub-lead from .gpx and supplementary guidance, and offers to help will be appreciated!
