Access to DA Website

There is currently an issue with the link to the DA website: www.cyclingswlondon.org.uk which is stopping access.
(This address is used so that when the underlying location of the website is moved - as happens periodically - public links to it do not need to be changed.)

Morley Blogging Again/Photo Competition

Thanks, Lisa, for the new invite.
It seems that I'm now up and running again. While I'm bloging on the MWW, I assume this invite also covers the C&M and the SWLDA?

Blog Upgrade

Sorry folks.

As those of you who have posted recently will know, Blogger has been pushing "New Blogger".
All the blogs have now been moved over to New Blogger, but this means (I think) that for you to post, you will all have to create "Google" accounts from your original Blogger accounts. It's a bit of a hassle, so my apologies, but in the long term it will be beneficial. I also think that the Google accounts will allow other possibilities with the club sites, so it is all for the best really.

I believe that next time you log in to post, with your old account details, you will be prompted to create a new account based on an email address. It seems to be fairly straightforward, but if anyone has any problems please get in touch and I will try to talk you through it.

Please make a note of your new username and password, as I will no longer be able to look usernames up for those who forget (I think).

Finally, anyone who hasn't yet signed up for the Blog and would like to, please email me for an invitation.

New Wayfarer Blogger - Mike Morley

Thanks to the help from Lisa and Pete, I managed after some effort to register. For future Bloggers do not be put off if your first choice of user name is rejected. I chose a number of names but my first choices etc. etc were rejected, I assumed already in use but 24hrs later I got accepted morleymike which was my second choice, even though at the time, it was rejected.

I am definitely looking forward to swapping notes with Brian Starey, especially after his trip to the twin cities of Buda & Pest.

Today I did elevens's to Leatherhead solo but ducked out, after 10mls with the "A" group ably led by Frank on fixed, to go home for Lunch but ending up with Dave Aylett and Angie at Weatherspoons in Leatherhead. Got home 2.30pm and finished one corner of landscaping my garden.
