From Cobham, Liz, Bernard, Cliff, Les, Norman, Philip, Terry and I rode through Ripley and Pyrford to Woking. A couple of miles North of Woking, in the bitter cold, my fellow riders were most patient and helpful while the punctured rear tube on my new bike was replaced. The delay meant we arrived slightly late at the Pelican, between Addlestone and Weybridge, where we were served our (markedly good value) lunch at a large round table with a view across the Wey Navigation to green fields beyond.
