Many
of our regular riders were cycling abroad or taking heed of the weather
forecast and therefore we were down to only four riders. We set out in the dry
to ride to Charlwood for lunch but were not able to avoid the rain. We had a
good lunch at the excellent Half Moon Inn and then set off northwards as the
rain drove in from the east. By the time we reached Wray Lane (see elevation
profile) the weather was better and we headed for tea in Banstead.
Thank
you Tim, Ian and Terry for braving the elements and helping to make a very
pleasant day out.
