Wednesday's ride from Cobham will take us to lunch at The Jack Phillips*, Godalming (Wetherspoons), and that's just the tip of the iceberg (geddit). The ride is not flat and includes two climbs of the North Downs, but also, taking advantage of the current absence of mud, no fewer than seven unsurfaced, off-road sections, which are of variable quality, but mainly rideable! The ride to lunch is about 20 miles so please be prepared to leave Cobham at 11.00 am sharp. The ride back to tea at Ripley is a lot shorter (13 miles). If you have ridden my Sunday C&M route to Godalming you will find this ride completely different.
