Invitation to Join the 'A' Group Ride on Weds 22 September 2021

The 'A' Group ride on Weds 22 September will take us from an airside elevenses at Fairoaks Airport, Chobham to a riverside lunch at The Heron on the Ford, Charvil (https://www.heronontheford.co.uk/) , and then back to Nauticalia or the Lock Cafe, Shepperton for a riverside tea!   22.5 miles to lunch and 23.5 miles back on an easy,  flattish route with plenty of lanes and quieter back roads, watermills, thatched cottages etc etc.   There are two unsurfaced but very short off-road sections which will not present any problems.  Hans and Frances and I will be leading groups with Neil W as back-up.   

The deadline to sign up is earlier than usual because the pub wants plenty of notice of our orders, so, if you would like to join the ride, please e-mail me (cycledave23@gmail.com) by 4.00 pm at the latest on Monday 20 September.    Please include your menu choices (see below - more details on the online version but ensure you are looking at the autumn/winter menu not the summer one).  Also specify if you will have a particularly long ride to Fairoaks and would prefer a later starting time, although I would like all groups to set off by 11.00 at the latest, not least so that we can avoid the worst of the afternoon traffic!
