A touch of the miraculous about Pete's ride today - dry roads and no rain until we were parking our bikes (under cover) at Wetherspoons, Hammersmith. The torrential rain and high winds that then arrived led to a bit of fragmentation of the group after lunch, but, all in all, we did well.
16 miles elevenses to lunch at a rolling average of 11mph. Hardy souls may have done a few more miles afterwards - Bob and I went home on the train.
