Lunch will be at the 3 Compasses, Alfold,
just south of Dunsfold Aerodrome. Distance is c22 miles from Cobham with
several well-earned opportunities for descending, notably Combe Bottom
(hopefully avoiding scary gravel patch on left hand bend towards the bottom)
Little London (ditto re gravel) and Winterfold. Return to Leatherhead with
another cracking descent from Coldharbour as a reward for the (non-compulsory)
ascent of Tanhurst Lane.
44 miles in total and max 3,000 feet of climbing. Hope to see you there.
