Ged how very interesting! Lots of people have asked me what was the purpose and I said that I had no idea except that it maybe an identification point on the 2012 Olympic Road Race Course and now we know. It seems that even the National Trust are prepared to ruin the Landscape. Most people would call it Graffiti.

Apparently it's biodegradeable - so we won't always have to endure it on our climbs!
I rather like it!
