Ray our very capable leader in conversation with Vic after we descended White Down. A Botanical question for Vic-what is it. It looked like a thistle but not entirely and was over 6ft tall with yellow flower heads a bit like dandelion?
Thanks Lisa. Well Vic I am sure you have it absolutely right it must have been a Sonchus_asper. Glad I didn't pick a leaf off I would hate a rash! Begs the question how do you eat the leaves then?
