Having spoken to one or two people I’ve come to the conclusion Bockett’s Farm to my house is a bit impractical. So this is the new plan. Meet at North Cheam on 31 August as usual at 9.30, then cycle the 12 miles to 8 Sydenham Avenue SE26 6UH for coffee. (Obviously if North Cheam doesn’t suit you, you can go directly to my house).Then a choice: either a short ride round Sydenham’s points of interest, including the remains of the Crystal Palace, the dinosaurs, the small museum in Crystal Palace Park, the King William IV Naval Asylum, etc., or doss around in my garden/pool. After that lunch and you’re free to go! I’ll set you on the way back to North Cheam.
