...rang me last night to say he'd experienced pain in his knee when returning home last Wednesday, forcing him to walk up a hill. The pain returned later and John sought medical help/advice. They seemed surprised at the mileage he covered and thought he should reduce it. Hopefully treatment will be effective otherwise John might need to catch a train to and from Wayfarers' meetings.
