'B' Group Ride 17/04/19

For a complete change of scene for the 'B' Group ride on Wednesday we will head north through 'leafy Bucks', into the very foothills of the Chilterns, and take lunch at The White Horse, Hedgerley, who have kindly reserved us their finest marquee!    The menu is ever-changing so only a few staples are shown online.   The ride is 36 miles from Walton and back to tea at Nutty Lane, Shepperton and we will need to set off promptly at 11.00 am.   We will take quieter roads and surfaced paths wherever possible, but some busier stretches are unavoidable, especially on the return route.  Absolutely no mud.   120% guaranteed!     Some hills are involved (some steepish), mainly confined to the 30 mins either side of lunch, and, in particular, you may wish to moderate your consumption of the eclectic range of cask-drawn real ales on offer mindful of the need to re-ascend Hedgerley Hill immediately on leaving the pub!   GPX route file available from me on request.
