Wednesday's A ride from the Westway Centre will be to lunch at Lingfield and tea in Brockham. Just under 40 miles.
By Caterham standards this is not a hilly ride with only two significant hills - though some might think Gangers Lane counts double. We initially head east towards Westerham and then turn south using lanes last referred to in the blog in 2012. After the Greensand ridge at Limpsfield Chart there are no significant hills. All is on road even though one section is signed as a bridleway.
Lunch will be at The Star Inn as our old favourite, the Greyhound, no longer has a chef. I was told that provided we arrived in our usual sized groups we didn't need to pre-order. For information the menu is in the link below - the range of sandwiches is limited but note that you can add soup or fries for £2.
Please book your place by 5pm on Monday evening. Thanks.
