B Group will be heading into the hills, two fairly big ones before lunch, and after 20 miles, we will dine at The Inn on the Green in Ockley. With one brief but delightful exception the ride is all on tarmac. We'll be on narrow roads in the hills so we need to take care, especially on the descents.
The Parrot at Forrest Green would have given us a shorter ride but their gastro-pub prices are a bit too high these days. (Dave's Fish and Chips would have cost £18.75, Light Bites prices start at £14.25, soup £7.95.) So we'll push on for another 2.2 miles to Ockley.
Vee and her staff don't require us to pre-order but this is the menu.

The 17 mile afternoon ride up to Leatherhead will be a little undulating in places but easy going after the morning's efforts.

Your leaders will be Francis and Bernard and myself. Departure times will probably be 10:30, 10:40 and 10:50.
