Pete well done an excellent video, I saw the train going towards Epsom when I rode along the A24 but did not realise what it was. I wish I had known it was coming through at 3pm but no one told me!
Terry told me afterwards all the details and that it was a 4 x 6 x 2, Merchant Marine Class used on the South Coast and is now used for the "Orient Express"
On subject of 6 Bells I would like to record I was not happy with the service and the fact that the Bar Lady refused to accept that I had left a £5 note on the bar to pay for my Sandwich. As a statistic I think it would be a good idea to note which pubs charge for Soda Water from the pump (free by the Brewery) and which don't. Wetherspoons and many don't 6 Bells charge £2 as do others. A lot for plain water with carbon bubles in it!

After most of the group (i.e. those near or behind me) had joined the A25 from Punchbowl Lane, we stopped in the layby where I gave those present the choice of seeing the train or carrying on to Annie's. Wishing to save this as a surprise I did not explain it at lunch in case we did not arrive at Dorking before 1500 hrs. Unfortunately some people were too far ahead to be aware of the reason for this impromptu stop.

I wonder which train Mike saw going towards Epsom as our train was going towards Reigate!
