19 riders made their way across Bookham Common on a Brilliant Autumn Day,
climbing up to Polsden Lacy and racing down to West Humble.
We stopped on the top of Box Hill to take in the wonderful view and for
Tim's photo call and continued to the Dukes Head Pub in Tadworth minus two
riders (gone to do their Christmas shopping?). The service and lunch was up to
the usual standard.
Refreshed we continued across Epsom Downs, Epsom Common and Chessington to arrive at Squires Garden Centre in Long Ditton for tea. Our numbers depleted by now to about 10, but with one new addition for tea a lone "A" rider (Peter Brown) who was on his own ride.
I would like to thank John Austin for back marking again, the other markers and
the good weather.
