Next week's ride is to Eton, and back to Hampton Court. Elevenses at the Pheasantry cafe, Bushy Park, lunch at the Watermans Arms, Eton Riverside, and tea at 5 At the Bridge, Hampton Court.
It's a flat route, with only one hill (Crimp): 20 miles for an early lunch, 18 miles to tea, getting you home before dusk. The B group will be familiar with the route - it's one I led in April, so if any Bs want a repeat you're more than welcome!
A few (good) gravel sections, and one short riverside path, easily avoidable.
