Elevenses was at Caterham: it was a rather windy & dull day and only eight of us that set off for Lingfield. Up Woldingham & down Chalkpit lane to Oxted, then lovely quiet lanes, through, to borrow a phrase "undiscovered country", well for me!! Luckily with a tail wind all the way to "The Star" pub opposite the church, with huge portions of lunch for all! Back via Tandridge up a horrible hill or two & onto the Woldingham track past the school to the garden centre for tea in the conservatory. The rain still held off but now it was a head wind.
