After the hilly extravaganzas of the last 2 weeks, its all change with next week's ride, leaving from Weybridge, with barely a hill in sight!!.
We are making a return visit to The White Horse in Hedgerley, which we last visited in July in a heatwave. I cant promise the same weather but at the moment it looks quite benign....mild and dry, which is probably the most we can ask for in November.
21 miles to lunch, 23 fast miles back to tea at the Riverside Barn in Walton-on-Thames. 220m of total ascent in 44 miles
The route has some off-road sections which are mainly hard-surfaced and easily rideable but are covered with fallen leaves and a few small patches of mud in places.
The only hill of any note is the short climb out of Hedgerley straight after lunch.
Please e-mail me at :-- bartholomews@blueyonder.co.uk by 6pm on Monday if you would like to join the ride.
