Report for B Group - 9th November

After days of blustery downpours sunshine and blue skies made the day.  I was lucky that Tony Hooker offered to sublead early on and added to the rides with his local knowledge.

After being warned off Whiteley Village we took care to proceed single file and passed through easily without any confrontation.  The off road sections were not too bad at all.  The worst was a very large puddle straddling Farm Lane on tarmac.  The Centenary war memorial and woodland was worth introducing to those not aware of it.  Good to see our injured soldiers at lunch all recovering well, Ken, Pete, and Brenda out on her bike at last.
