Do you remember when we used to visit Day Centres for our elevenses - including Elleray Hall?
Well, in two years's time we hope to be visiting a new Elleray Hall - the Elleray Community Centre. We have now replied to the consultation on the redevelopment and re-provision of a new hall - to be located just around the corner from the familiar old green building. To safeguard our future use - as a popular venue for elevenses, we have responded to Richmond Council and the Elleray Community Association with our particular requirements that we feel need to be catered for in the new facility.
Our submission, included in response to the online consultation, sets out our long association with Elleray Hall, and desire for this to continue; the relevant planning and transport policies that support the need for plenty of bike parking spaces; and some suggestions how best this can be catered for in the new development.
We are hopeful that the Council will take on-board our comments, and that by early 2023 we'll be enjoying elevenses in the new Elleray Community Centre.
