Dieppe Raid update

From Caroline Street, on the Dieppe Raid Facebook page:

Hi all

Everyone who had entered the 2020 event has now been offered a refund. Thank you to everyone who has already responded and special thanks to those who have offered to either carry the money over to next year or use it towards overheads. I'm looking forward to hearing from the remaining entrants very soon. Please check your spam folders if you haven't seen my email.

With regard to people who had already booked their travel for last year, or used their credit note for this year, DFDS have advised the following:

DFDS have extended all travel credits until December 2022, (bookable by Sept 2022), obviously faced with this pandemic we must be flexible with our customers.

Therefore you can reassure your customers by informing them if their ticket is not used this year, they could travel again next year and use their travel credit.

We apply exactly the same rule as previously, even the travel credit was already transferred to another departure.

I will aim to publish this on the news page of the website over the next few days. I'm sure you'll all agree with me that this sounds very fair.

Fingers crossed for a successful 50th anniversary event in 2022. In the meantime, stay safe!!
