'A' Group's ride from Walton Day Centre on Wednesday 12 July will take us westwards to lunch at The Tilly Shilling (Wetherspoons), Farnborough, then back to tea at Nauticalia or Shepperton lock. Just under 50 miles start to finish and no big climbs (less than 500 metres/approx 1,500 height gain all told). However, there is much more off-road than usual. Most is surfaced, some not, but there is nothing that an ordinary road bike cannot cope with (in fact, we've ridden all the off-road sections on previous 'A' rides, but not all in the same ride). The rest of the ride is mainly on quieter roads except where the odd, short stretch of main road cannot be avoided.

If you'd be willing to sub-lead a group from .gpx then please let me know, otherwise, if more than one group is needed, I'll leave it to groups to self-navigate.
