Special cycling book offered

Brian Bent has kindly donated a book of Frank Patterson drawings to the club, and this is on offer to a lucky club member in exchange for a donation to the club.

Frank Patterson was a well-known illustrator of cycling scenes in the first half of the 20th century, capturing the landscape and typical cyclists in distinctive pen and ink drawings, which were often featured in Cycling Weekly and later the CTC Gazette.   His pictures are highly collectable.

This book, The Frank Patterson Picture Book, is the third book of his illustrations, published postumously by CTC, and would be a lovely thing to own.
