Looking ahead: B Group ride for Weds. 5th August

Meet at Leg Of Mutton Field, Cobham where you can find coffee and toilets.

The ride takes the less used roads over the North Downs and Leith Hill so bring your climbing legs.

Our route will take us over the North Downs to Shere via Shere Road which the B group used on Dave's ride a few weeks ago.

From Shere to Peaslake and then climb Radnor Road which traverses Holmbury Hill and then drops to Lunch at Forest Green.

We can have a picnic lunch on the Green. There are some seats on the Green but no public toilets.

Butchers Hall Farm shop located by the Parrot Pub serves hot drinks and sausage rolls and pork pies, but not sandwiches, and has a loo and a few tables and chairs.

The Parrot Pub will also be open but the pub commented that Wednesday is a busy day - a menu is on  their website.

Our ride after lunch is short and sharp - up Tanhurst Lane to Coldharbour and then descend into Dorking for tea at Denbies. The distance from Cobham to Denbies is about 25 miles so we will have plenty of time to enjoy the scenery.

Please join us on Wednesday. Please email me on kenday06@yahoo.co.uk by Monday 8pm

Thanks

Ken
