Not much to add to Ken's and Tim's contributions - I led Grant, Eric, Richard and Fixie Dave (thanks, part time back marker) and enjoyed their company and Ken's undulating route. Eric was the only one brave enough to risk wet knees at Shere ford, shortly after Richard had the first of his two pre-lunch punctures. He caught us up at lunch at the well organised Parrot.
After lunch there was the delight of Tanhurst followed by the mostly downhill ride to Denbies via Coldharbour including a diversion from 'normal' in Dorking to admire the view from Cotmandene.
