It was such a low turnout that it hardly seems report worthy. Three of us, Peter Tiller, Bernard Power and myself turned up at Eight on the River for elevenses. I just hope that anybody who turned up at North Cheam who didn't know the way to elevenses just gave up.
We rode down to the end of Ember Lane, right onto Portsmouth Road then left along Littleworth Common Road and on to Claygate. We followed through into Coverts Road, turning right into Fairoaks Lane and then left into Prince's Drive. We took the long way round the estate, crossing into Steel's Lane, across the level crossing into Little Heath Lane and Water Lane and across Stoke Road to Tilt Road to the Running Mare for lunch. After lunch the other two went home in the direction of Esher and I went home through Leatherhead and Epsom.
