Starting in Teddington Elleray Hall the plan is to cycle 26 miles west, with a loop through Windsor Great Park and Sunningdale for lunch at The Half Moon pub. The ascent is 1000 ft and the only major hill is Tite Hill the other side of Egham. The roads will all be tarmac and no off road. The pub is an easy going one with a choice of six sandwiches and space outside or in for dining. They don't require pre-orders, but I need to send them an account of numbers to arrange our seating.
The return is only 13 miles and 400 ft of ascent to The Wilde Bunch cafe Walton. This is the last summer ride and hopefully we can get some miles in before winter descends, but at a moderate pace on slippery autumn roads.
