Our ride will be a round trip of just under 45 miles from Addlestone and back to Walton Bridge with a lunch stop at The Queen Hotel, Aldershot (sounds upmarket, but it's only Wetherspoons!). A point of interest just before lunch will be a detour to view the rather impressive Wellington memorial which originally stood at Hyde Park Corner. For a change, it's a day for the rouleurs with gentle undulations and only one climb of any significance at all. Just a few off-road sections which are all on tarmac. Frances and Hans have kindly volunteered as co-leaders.
The route starts from Tesco's roundabout, Addlestone. Coffee and toilets available at Harris and Hoole inside Tesco's, or at Costa Coffee or The Golden Cafe on other sides of the roundabout.
