CTC survey of Member Groups and Ride Leaders

Dear All,

Have you all seen this? I'm not sure who it has been sent to as no Rides Leader has mentioned it. If not, what is the use of a survey of members' views, published in CTC Club Shorts, that is not seen by the people intended to reply?? I apologise if I should have circulated this earlier. Here are the links. I hope they work:

http://survey.ctc.org.uk/index.php?sid=17656&lang=en

http://survey.ctc.org.uk/index.php?sid=92851&lang=en

Do please let me know if you have seen these and if I am misdirecting my Meldrew tendencies. The link to CTC Club Shorts Is:

It is interesting to note that we are no longer addressed as 'Dear Member' but as 'Dear Supporter' - not of the Club but of the proposed charity no doubt. Words do speak volumes.

We haven't got a Forum but do please add your comments and if it applies to you, complete the survey.

The survey takes no time to complete. There seems to be no provision for any member without internet access. However, the survey was issued on 12 July and I saw no deadline. I have subsequently seen that responses from Ride Leaders are required by 31 July - a consultation period of 19 days!

Hi Jeff well done for flagging this up. Unfortunately I for some reason I do not get "Cycleshorts" or "Cycleclips" on a regular basis though I must admit I did see the request for survey and somehow thought it was for Rides Leaders or Member Groups like C&M.
I have quickly scanned through the form this morning but gave up as you are not allowed to do this without filling in the mandatory fields first. Page one is easy as you dont have to identify yourself but then page 2 requires some thought and concentration. At that point I gave up bearing in mind I maybe past the sellby date. As a committee member I suppose I should persevere. Perhaps this promt should also go on the DA Blog also? but then very few seem to read it!
