Easy Riders - 8th March

Despite a very wet start, more than 20 members, including Mark Roy, convened for the 'alternative' 11's at Kingston this morning and lively conversation ensued!

Surbiton featured in 'The Good Life', not 'Ever Decreasing Circles' but Richard Briers provides the link, and today's ride could have been dedicated to him!  An eclectic tour of Berrylands, Tolworth and Long Ditton had everyone guessing, including, at times, the ride leader!   Easy Riders stalwarts had their numbers swelled to almost 15 by a number of most welcome refugees from the 'B' Group including Peter T, Ed, Tony Hooker and Grant.

As ever, the welcome was warm at the Black Lion in Surbiton, and the lunch did not disappoint, although on our next visit we will be much better placed to take full advantage of their excellent new tapas-style lunch menu!

After lunch it was off up Ditton Hill where there was a parting of the ways and Lynda kindly took a group on to Ewell Court for tea.

Despite an unpromising start this turned out to be a very enjoyable ride so thanks to everyone who took part.
