The plan is to meet for elevenses on the seafront at Brighton, to ride along the edge of the South Downs until lunch, then ride home on roads we all know pretty well. Plenty of trains to Brighton, possibility of a train back from Horsham or Dorking if you want, otherwise tea on the way to Leatherhead.
Any bike suitable but fatter tyres will give you an easier time.
