Captain Ken waved us off on a calm but overcast sea with full sails, up Green Dene and down Combe Lane we made easy sailing to land at Guildford taking on provisions esp rum, in the castle grounds and The Kings Head ( the Pub provided parking for our bikes, the service was good and the food reasonably priced).
We continued our voyage to West End Island but unfortunately we had lost a woman overboard near Guildford station. We found the waters a bit choppy going up the London Rd channel. Close to Cobham many of the crew jumped ship but we managed to make land at Garson Harbour where we partook of the local rum. Thanks to all the Captains and Crews for taking part in the voyage.
Regards

3rd Lieutenant’s report
Five jolly Sailors sailed off from Cobham at 10.50am ( give or take an hour) being Madeleine, Colin, Clive, Steven & a non-geared sailor. The groups left the Cobham Harbour in a few waves, ours being the third ship out.
No sign of the Jolly Roger, seemingly he was sunk at Wimbledon.
A few squalls were heard along the route. But not sure if it was the weather or the crew, maybe it came from Wimbledon?
We docked at the Kings head in Guildford, to take on board sustenance/provisions.
The hills on the route out were ascended without any of the crew putting a foot to the deck, at all. The homeward route to Garsons Farm was traversed without any problems.
All in all a Pleasant journey. Well done to the Admirable Admiral Tony.
