Our ride this week is to the White Horse at Maplehurst - an independently run Free House first visited by us in 2011 and again in 2016.
Just to make a change from "Dorking" our start will be at the Brockham Reading Rooms. From here we head south to Rusper and an orbital route round the edge of Horsham to reach Southwater where we have about a mile on the Downs Link which is well surfaced at this point. After lunch we return via Lower Beeding and Faygate to Denbies for tea.
45 miles and undulating rather than hilly. 2300 ft of ascent. I have a sub-leader offering a moderate pace so this ride may suit some of those who have joined us from the B group this year and last. Three leaders in total so based on recent turnout I hope not to limit numbers.
However please let me know if you wish to join by 6pm on Monday evening so that I can allocate groups.
