Invitation to A Group Ride to Horsted Keynes 21st July.

Our traditional annual ride to Horsted Keynes - and meet-up with East Sussex CTC, will take place on 21st July. Elevenses is at Tesco's, Hookwood, lunch at the Green Man pub, Horsted Keynes, and tea at Pistachios, Banstead.

The route - elevations, and distances, is the same as expertly planned by Steve Duffin - and ridden ridden by Wayfarers, in July 2020. It was was recced by myself and sub-leaders Brian and Janice on Monday 12th July. The off-road Worth Way, despite the deluge later that day, should now be drying-out nicely and rideable with road tyres, but it's an opportunity for a day-out with your gravel bike.

I will be at North Cheam for a prompt 8.15am departure for those wanting to be led to Hookwood. As the route passes the Epsom Downs Tea Hut there will be also the opportunity for those wishing to be led to join here from around 8.30am. Let me know if you wish to take-up this offer.

The Green Man has requested us to pre-order lunch, and so in responding let me know your choices. We'll continue to sit in groups of six, outside, and order from the table.

Please respond by 6-00pm on Monday 19th July to:- gedlawrenson150@gmail.com if you wish to join this ride.

Groups and any further details will be emailed on Monday evening.

You can phone me with any queries: 07986 254073, or on the A Group WhatsApp.

It'll be nice sunny, dry, and warm on Wednesday for a long day's ride - don't miss it!
