You are invited on Wednesday's B group ride from Cobham Royal British Legion to the Ristorante Sorrento in Tolworth.
Note Ged's advice to A Group:
If you've read the latest Sou'wester Shorts you'll know that this is our first elevenses at the Legion since the outbreak of the pandemic. As such we will need to be particularly mindful of the arrangements made for our visit. We have agreed with the new Chairman, Dave Ansell, that we will stagger arrival times at the premises, so that there are no more than 20-25 Wayfarers in the building at any one time. Wearing of masks is not necessary, but social distancing needs to respected as far as possible. Hand sanitisers will be provided on the tables. Maureen will be on hand to help Noreen - the Legion's secretary, with serving the refreshments.
Remember that we pay for our tea and biscuit with small change, traditionally about £1.
We will be departing from Cobham RBL from 10.30am to 10.40am for a 20 mile ride to our Annual Lunch at Ristorante Sorrento Tolworth. B riders please enter the RBL between 10.20 and 10.35am only, to avoid crowding and keep social distance due to limited indoor space. This is to coincide with the departure of the A Groups.
