Invitation to B Group ride on 25th August

Will there be a picnic and a ride in the sunshine on 25 August 2021? Yes we might be lucky to have everything we wish for on the day.

It has been two years since our last picnic. We will have 11s at the Fairfield Centre in Leatherhead. Yes, the Centre manager Christina May and her team are expecting all three groups of riders having tea/coffee/cake/scones on the outside terrace from 10.30am on Wednesday 25th August. Ged Lawrenson will email her with numbers early Tuesday morning so that they won't run short of supplies

B Group will ride a scenic and undulating "figure of 8" for about 17 miles to the Brockham Cricket Green for our picnic. Tea, Coffee and Soft drinks will be kindly provided. Here is the RideWithGPS route:

B Picnic ride from Leatherhead to Brockham

After our leisurely picnic, we will make our way to climb the smooth ZigZag way to the stunning viewpoint of Box Hill and onwards either to Bike Bean Coffee shop (6.3 miles from picnic) or Headley Village Store (8.7 miles from picnic) and/or the Cock Inn if you fancy a drink in the pub.
