Sixteen left North Cheam for coffee in Ashtead, three decided to leave us but I gained one, Don, so fourteen willing cyclists made our way to Newdigate via the quiet pretty roads of Wheelers Lane to Leigh. We enjoyed a very nice lunch sitting outside The Surrey Oaks, and we continued for tea at Leatherhead via Henfold, Punchbowl Lane and Dorking. I clocked 42 miles.

Thank you all for your company and Frank, Helen and Carolyn for acting as subleaders and back markers. Brian who caught us up drew Newdigate Church during our lunch break.
