B Group - 7th October, some photos and a map

We couldn't have imaginined such a sunny day for our ride. Our days of sitting out in the sun to eat lunch are probably numbered but we made the most of it and we can definitely add the Olive Tree to our list of desirable destinations. One of the little treats in the ride was the Muddy Lane route from Brooklands, unexplored by most of us for a very long time. We owe a big thankyou to all the people who persevered with the long campaign to get the route open again after years of obstacles and hostility.

Bob, Brenda, Stuart and Wendy

Christina who doesn't like riding off-road very much stayed on the Basingstoke Canal, riding far beyond David's planned exit at Scotland Bridge, and continued on the usually bumpy and muddy Wey Navigation path, all the way into Weybridge.
