Invitation to the A-group Ride on 26 May.

After Simon's foray to the frozen north this week it is my turn to head to the sunny south-east from Caterham.

The Westway Centre we usually use is now a vaccination centre, and so we will meet over the road at the junction of Chaldon Road and Westway. Here it is on Google Streetview -

The public loos are adjacent and there are two cafés and a bakers just over the road.

As most will have climbed a couple of big hills to get to Caterham I have only added a further one and a half big hills in the 19 miles to Lingfield.

Lunch is at The Greyhound where tables are reserved inside, but if the warm sunny weather I have ordered arrives we can re-locate to the outside spaces.

There is another 19 miles after lunch towards Dorking, with no real hills.

You can agree your tea location with your leader but could be at the Hillier Garden Centre on the A25, Denbies or Ryka's.

Departures from Caterham will be from 10.45am.
