We are heading east to Four Elms in Kent on Wednesday via Outwood, Lingfield, Edenbridge and Hever. Return through the lanes to Hurst Green, then Bletchingly and Merstham to Banstead.
22 miles to lunch which after the initial exertion up Philanthropic Road is quite gentle. Save some energy for the 21 miles back to Banstead which includes Tilburstow as well as the mandatory switchback via Chipstead to Banstead.
Dave Ferrett has kindly volunteered to lead a slower group so there will be a range of speeds.
Pistachios assure me that they are open till 5.
