Zig-zag road, Box Hill

To confirm Terry's comment about the Zig-zag road being closed at Easter John Brooks observed it for himself:

Took myself off for a ride up 'the hill' this a.m. and at the bottom of the zig-zag were two patrol cars and four of Surrey's finest. Road closed and coned-off to cars & cyclists! Not sure if I was annoyed or pleased - any excuse to miss a hill.

Of course, all footpaths were open and no doubt there is a squadron of drones making sure that walkers are at least 78.74" apart.

Don't know if the other end of the hill top road is closed, but people do live up there (maybe Mr Plod is not letting them out of their houses).

I am VERY pleased to hear the Box Hill Zig-Zags are closed to prevent stupid people taking stupid risks with other peoples' safety
